Welcome to Mother Home Stay. We are located at the heart of Padang City, the gate to the Mentawai Archipelago. If you are visiting the islands, as must travelers are, we have an ideal location, just a 15 to 20 minutes walk to the Fast Ferry Pier. Close to our house (which is the Chinese Quarter are) you can visit: the See Hin Kiong Chinese Temple. You will also have easy accesses to the beach, to public transportation, to ATM's, to the traditional market and the Museum,.

My home is small & simple but offers all the basics you need for a very comfortable stay. Come and stay with me so you can experience our local culture and taste our traditional dishes. I offer a very affordable overnight stay for either private rooms or dormitory style accommodation. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean.  Bed sheets are changed regularly while you stay. There are fans conveniently place in every room for your cooling as well as multiple electrical outlets to charge your electronics. My home has common areas for relaxation and rest and counts with excellent 24 hrs WiFi and Cable -Movie channels for distraction and entertainment.

You can also choose to adds on the meals to your stay which I believe will not disappoint you. I love cooking and I think I’m good in making traditional and western dishes. I will try to please your taste in the must organic way. My cooking is   fresh as I always try to avoid products that have chemicals and preservatives. I invite you to come an enjoy my place. It is also your home!
